Hello. my name is Jen. i am the square root of evil. The square root of evil is not any more evil than you are, btw. I make music on my computer. sometimes i use controllers too. Now that i have my midi cable to sync things up you may even see my gameboy. my music has been described as quirky, breakcore, 8 bit, glitch, and more. i just like to make semi-fast songs with dumb melodies. hopefully you will enjoy them. either way, feel free to contact me via

i like the sun, except it means i don’t want to be inside. i tried to get a solar panel so i could sit outside all day and make music, but then i found out that a solar panel with enough juice to run a laptop costs about $600. so i will wait until that is not the case.

in spite of all this sunshine, i have actually been making music. this is rad because i had quite a stretch where i was not. which is not the best when you are supposed to be making an ep for a label. i sense i will complete some new tunes soon. yes, i can feeeeeel it.

last night i went and saw rad vancouver music. they were rad. i want to play shows with them, too bad vancouver has a serious venue shortage right now. booooourns.

i will be playing shows in seattle and portand in august by the looks of it. dopeness.

the ladyfest show was super awesome, robin played a kick ass set and the djs were wicked. it was very fun and i was stoked to be involved.

no live sets on the immediate radar but methinks there will be a hoedown in aug with yours truly plus more. and some travellin’ as mentioned above…….

a good friend in londontown just sent me an mp3 of a live set i played on resonancefm in 2005, it is here if you are so inclined to listen. it skips sometimes, and the sound quality is not super awesome (cause it’s a web capture yo), and my live setup has changed since then, but i dunno, it’s nice to hear my title said with a sweet scottish accent. ;) hopefully i will back in europa in sept/oct. chawesome. watch out helisinki!
