July 1, 2008 - another show! and another show!

i am playing in a couple of weeks with Christer and Piper Davis!!! This show will be so awesome, different styles by a bunch of computer lovin ladies. I am very excited to see all the dancing ;). My set will be slightly more techno than usual. Only slightly…..

Then the next week I am playing at Soundwave!!! Besides being my favourite transformer, this is an AMAZING music festival in the middile if the beautiful bc wilderness. I am very honoured and extremely excited. This set will start at 180bpm+ and end at 140bpmish. hee hee. I will be at the Meadow stage on the Sat night at 9 pm

May 6, 2008 - shows!!!!!

Hello hello!

I have some shows coming up! This Sunday, May 11, I am playing with The No Luck Club and Mochipet! I will start out with some thumps and ends with some rushes. I have a bit of new stuff that is fast & furious, so that will work nicely. I love playing at the Royal Unicorn, I just wish they would fix the disco floor. Then on June 3rd I am playing with Venetian Snares (!!!), Taal Mala, Colby Sparks, Hunter Green and the Goblin Queen. This is terribly exciting.

I have a new laptop too, although my shows in Europa went off, I was having some minor technical difficulties that I believe can be traced to a dying hd on my trusty powerbook. Yes, I could just buy a new hd, but it was getting a bit old so now I have a new one that can run up to date version of software! w00t! So come watch me spill some beer on it!

April 18, 2008 - coming soon…..

so, i have switched servers and have the magnificent Mjark looking after my web presence these days. John was a great help with panicnow, but his bakery (!) is now very successful so he does not have time for such internet things. Mjark is a super cool geek who is very 1337 when it comes to stopping bad hackers and spammers, so the comments are up and running again.

i have been working on a remix, and decided that song i made on the plane wasn’t done so it’s in pieces again. but i have a plan for 2008 and am sticking to it. it includes having stuff come out. and making tshirts.

hmmm… i think i might have a show or 2 coming up, and with some big names at that! weeeee! more to come!

March 16, 2008 - music

the shows in europe were great- london was so fun and people got down, and athens- well, let’s just say the greeks like it fast. it was awesome, a great venue, and amazing people. a rooftop deck with a view of the acropolis. and 20 degrees in march. le sigh.

wrote a song on the plane (how else do you kill 9 hrs?), just tweaking it a bit. i hope to have an ep out sometime this year, in addition to the other one that may or may not come out one day

still working on my remix of a popular kids show for a comp, i’ve actually been a bit of a slacker about it lately so gotta get my arse in gear.

and i’ve been listing to lots of oldskool hardcore lately, so i’m tempted to make a few tracks in that vein to play live. piano bits! chipmunk vocals! air raid sirens! weeee!

January 21, 2008 - an interview!!! euro dates!

hello, happy 2008.

i was interviewed by a lovely american awhile ago, he has posted the interview at Some Assembly Required. there is another ep coming out! really! hahahaha! no, really!

i am playing in london, england on saturday feb 23rd at Ginglik, and i am playing in athens, greece on friday feb 29 (oooh the spooky day!) at a place called Bios. and… hopefully i will have at least one other show while i am over there. i am very excited! i will put up posters when i get them.

i have been making some music lately, one song is pretty thumpy again (and super rad), and one is barely started but so far i think it will be very fluttery. spazzy? i dunno. fun! the fluttery one will be oot in may or so, the other one i dunno, maybe on another ep? maybe there will be 2 this year? oh, yes, i am an enigma.

i started a mail list!!!! you can opt in by going to ReverbNation. it will be quiet, mostly announcements about releases and shows. i guess kind of like this, but it means you don’t have to come here. but i would like it if you did both. i dunno, don’t all the cool people have lists? i would have a forum too, but i get the feeling it would only be me posting.

oh yes, and i have a facebook page now too.

also, i plan to update this website soon, like add some new pics and update the releases and stuff. i wiped my laptop awhile ago, and kind of forgot to put the internet editing apps back on. they are helpful when editing the internets. and i’m still harassing web people about the comments deal, i hope that is fixed soon.

December 18, 2007 - merry christmas

my show on the 6th was AWESOME. i have slowly but surely been getting my method for playing live down, and the latest changes i made really gave me the freedom i’ve been wanting. excellent. played a couple of tracks i’ve never played before, got quite a lot of booties shaking, lots of people came up to me after, i had an awesome time. both the other acts kicked arse too, it was great. i love that venue!!!

lately i’ve been taking it easy, setting up a new studio. remixing a children’s tv show for a comp, quite excited about that- it will be out springtimeish. starting to think about another tour….looking into england, holland, sweden, germany, switzlerand, and maybe belgium and greece. and any combination of the above. we’ll see what i can swing. but it will be fun!!
